This past year I have been getting together work for my upcoming exhibition at the MacRostie Art Center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. I acquired a bag of fabric shreds from a local Artist Ericka Mock out of Superior, Wisconsin. Her work was inspirational to creating these works of art.

First off I would do a rough layout. These images were gathered from late 50's and 60's magazines, fabric from EM, and left over pieces from a piñata. Next I proceed to mix up a large batch of paint and apply to the canvas using a pallet knife. Than using paint on the back of the images I attached them to the image. The end result I found very satisfying.
